Planning a Gender Neutral Nursery
My husband and I decided not to find out the sex of our baby this time around. I have been loving the surprise. The only hard part is having to pick a boy name and a girl name. But other than that, the excitement of not knowing is quite nice. And with that comes the planning of a gender neutral nursery. Well, if you had the chance to visit my pinterest board here of the “rooms that I adore”, you will see that creating a space with neutral colors comes with great joy for me. The space is not big, so the initial planning is crucial. I want to make sure that in a couple of years I can easily change the crib to a bed without having to completely re-do the room. I will stay with soft gray colors, white, beige and hints of green here and there. I want to add texture to the room by adding wood on one wall or maybe a wallpaper. I love the look of a room with wallpaper on one wall. It makes that wall so special, a perfect backdrop for the crib. Check the rooms that are inspiring me to create my nursery here. Have you created a gender neutral nursery before? I would love to hear from you.
