E-Thank You Cards

I have recently found out about a very cool iPhone app called Red Stamp. With Red Stamp you can email, text, tweet, Facebook, Instagram and paper mail personalized photo cards, notes, invitations and announcements right from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Snap a picture, pick a card, write a message and send it out to your friends and family. This app came in very handy once Victor was born. I could easily thank my family, friends and neighbors for all the pretty flowers, the yummy brownies, and cute onesies and bibs with the click of a button. When you are working, breast feeding, taking the kids to school, ballet and soccer, even seating down to write a card and putting in the mail can be quite a task. So, red stamp is a must have app for me. And did I mention it is free?

Making it unique.

I just came across some beautiful finds that are sure to make any nursery very unique. The Caravan crib with red rails below adds a splash of color to its classic and yet contemporary form. This piece of furniture is certain to add a lot of personality to any space.

The fun and bold storage space by Q collection junior makes it easy for the toddler to find toys with its circle cut out door pulls. I love the clean lines and simplicity of it.

How about a raw and unfinished stump as a kids’ stool? Modern, unique and adorable. This one is one of my favorites.

The new Kirie clock from Decoylab is very eye catching. The clock has some beautiful details and the best part of it is that the motor does not make a ticking sound. No one wants to wake up the baby, right?

And to wrap up my top 5 picks for a unique nursery, check out this wonderful tree bookcase. This unique bookshelf is sure to inspire reading in any child. Practical, unique and great design. Who doesn’t want some of that?

Edible icing decals

I just came across these wonderful icing decals by Sara and Abraham. These intriguing decals are a cute way to add a special touch to your child’s birthday party. They are absolutely darling and better yet, very affordable. These 2.5″ edible icing decals are printed on thin sheets of icing using edible inks. You can simply peel, stick and smooth onto any type of frosting. The decals merge with your frosting, producing a smooth texture that you can easily bite through. Yummy!

Today I found the cutest wooden toys at Just Hatched. A family company founded by a stay-at-home mom and social worker dad from New Castle, Indiana. Just Hatched’s toys are so, so pretty. I love the soft colors of each piece. I am putting these on my list for unique gift ideas. Check out Just Hatched and see some of their other pieces. I might need to get the House Blocks.
