Have you seen our new Summer Art Prints? The kids are officially out of school, so we are getting into the Summer vibes with lots of pool time, sugary popsicles, watermelon sticky lips, and sunscreen covered faces. To celebrate my favorite season, I created three fun art prints for the Summer season. I would like to introduce to you the oh so charming “Mr. Cactus” art print, the delicious and mouth watering “Popsicles” art print, and the very tropical “Summer Vibes Only” art print. All designs are available for purchase as paper print or canvasses starting at $19.99. But we are also giving you the chance to download the 5×7 size for FREE. All you have to do is visit Project Nursery to find all three files. Ready? Set. Summer!

The thing I love most about Trendy Peas’ wallpaper is how easy it is to apply it to the walls. So a couple of weeks ago we shot a fun wallpaper installation video to show you how the installation process works. Because our wallpaper is printed on a self-adhesive material, the installation is quite simple. Simply peel, stick, and enjoy. Watch the video below and see how we did it.

This Summer I will be working on two very special bedroom designs. These two rooms haven’t been touched for almost 10 years. So I am really looking forward to transforming these outdated spaces into functional and inviting bedrooms for my “clients”. The first room design is for my 10-year-old nephew, who I am calling #clientdrummer. I wrote about his bedroom makeover last year, and you can see his design board here. The second bedroom design is for #clientniece. My niece is twelve, she loves to perform, loves to sing and likes to wear comfortable bohemian-inspired clothes. So I decided to design a room with some beautiful bohemian elements and mix them with a touch of mid-century style. I want to add lots of geometric patterns and plenty of gold details throughout the room. I also want to mix leather with wool, and wood with metal. The more textures the better. Here is a couple of elements of this gorgeous bohemian design board. Will #clientniece approve?
After a lot of furniture searching, I found the butterfly chair you see above from Urban Outfitters. Sometimes you need a piece of furniture in the room that helps bring the entire room together. And in this case, this gorgeous butterfly chair with golden legs is just what will do the trick.

Remember the guest bedroom design board I posted a couple of weeks ago? Well, today I get to share with you the final room all put together. Are you ready for the guest bedroom reveal? Come on right in… Layers upon layers of gray and neutrals are what make this setting very charming. From the striped throw to the maze pillow, to the pattern on the headboard, and finally the simple pattern of the hive wallpaper. Lots of different shapes and different textures that are all working together as one big happy family. The double windows make this setting super bright and inviting. I really love the simplicity of it all.
