The questions was, what should I do with the long white wall along our hallway? The possibilities were endless, the ideas were great. But it tuns out that this hallway, which connects all three kids' rooms, is more than just a connector at times. It can be the office for school play, a track for Hot Wheels racing, or even a bowling alley. So when it came down to deciding on the decor, I thought that framing some of the kids' artwork was definitely the best option. They are so proud of their artwork hanging on the wall, and I adore this look. To make this gallery wall work with the kids' artwork, I chose frames that follow the style of my home. Alex and I like dark wood colors, as you can see by the hardwood floors, we prefer silver to gold, white is always present and black is spotted here and there. So for the gallery wall I chose walnut wood frames, along with silver and mirror frames. Some big and some small. All purchased at Target. The layout for the wall is somewhat symmetric, but it also has some movement. I really like how it tuned out. The windows help make this space feel bright and airy. It looks very kid-friendly; yet very stylish. For more gallery wall ideas visit this post here, or my gallery wall Pinterest board here.

We just got a photo from mom Elizabeth Lane showcasing baby Elijah's custom birth print design. We customized the colors of the print to match the nursery's colors. I love to see Trendy Peas' designs hanging on cozy spaces for little ones. Thank you so much Elizabeth for sharing your space with us. You sure got Trendy!

What makes that space you been designing for your kids even more special? Oh, it is in the details. It's about making it personal, making it unique. It's about adding pieces, photos and drawings that are very dear to your heart. A space that says So and So live here. But how can you achieve that? How about a gallery wall? One that is full of color, full of special prints, photographs or those kids drawings that make your heart melt. A gallery wall with different frame sizes and styles. One with personalized pieces. A gallery wall that shows a little about who you are. Putting a gallery wall together might seem scary at first, but once you start gathering the pieces, it is pure joy. Our new zodiac print creates the focal point for the gallery wall above. The Capricorn print is framed on the left by the Ombre art from printable posters and the must-have custom birth print design. On the right the Kaleidoscope print and the I love you print help bring in more colors to the space. To make it fun, some prints were taped to the wall and some were framed. Adding different elements, such as the letter V from Pottery Barn and the handmade round paper garland, complete the look. It is fun, chic and very affordable. As a tip, once you gather all your pieces, place them on the floor and find a layout that you like. Start from the center of the wall with a focal piece and then move to the sides. There is no right or wrong. Once you have decided on the layout, turn the music on and have fun while moving everything to the wall. Once all items are on the wall, take a look around and start enjoying the space. I have been pinning some cool gallery wall inspiration here. Check it out to get inspired. Go on, get creative!

Oh Liv, you know how to melt my heart. I am having the best day at work editing some photos I took yesterday from my adorable niece Olivia (4). Once I lay eyes on this picture, I knew I had to use it. So, that is a wrap! The new Zodiac prints should be on the site by next week. Here is a sneak peek. What's your sign?
